The WHMCS Upsell Module by Monarx interacts directly with the Monarx Agent and the Monarx Cloud. In short, the three work in harmony to provide WHMCS with the data it needs to automate workflows, marketing campaigns, and threat discovery.

The Monarx Agent is a simple linux package that needs to be installed on each Linux Server that is part of the Monarx Upsell program.

The Monarx Agent ID is a helpful and unique identifier that is associated with the Monarx Agent.

The Monarx Hostname feature automatically takes on the values from the /etc/hostname file or can be easily configured through the monarx-agent.conf file. This hostname serves as a unique identifier for the Monarx Agents, allowing for easy identification and management.

The WHMCS Hostname feature allows admins to conveniently store and utilize hostnames for identifying their products and services within the WHMCS system.

Detect is the mode that the Monarx Agent will provide threat detection service and is the default mode of new Monarx Agent installs.

Protect is the mode that Monarx Agent will provide threat protection and is enabled WHMCS when clients purchase at checkout or upgrade.
